Tips For A Perfect Pie Crust

I’ve used the pie crust you but at the supermarkets many times in the past, let’s admit it, it’s so much easier 🙂

However, many times after I placed the pie in the oven, the top looked while the bottom (the crust itself) wasn’t quite ready and so, it’s like a dead end because if you place the pie in the oven for another 10 minutes it’ll burn but if you don’t, you end up eating a semi raw pie 🙂

What I suggest doing is placing the crust on its own, in a preheated oven to 400F (200C) and baking it for about 15-20 minutes or until it’s golden, before adding your pie filling into it.

This way you get a nice fully baked pie.
