Vegetarian Poutine - Fresh Cut Fries in Mushroom Gravy

Poutine, one of Canada's national foods. If you're looking for something easy, fast and so good, or just comfort food. This is it.
Ingredients
  • 10 Medium Potatoes – Not peeled!!
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • ½ tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Pepper
For the Sauce:
  • 1 Container “Mushroom Marsala” Sauce by “Summer Fresh”
For serving:
  • Grated Cheese
Instructions
  1. Prepare in advance large baking pan layered with parchment paper
  2. Preheat oven to 200C (400F)
  3. Wash potatoes, leave skin on and cut into fries (sticks)
  4. Place in a big bowl and mix with the rest of the ingredients
  5. Bake in oven fro about 30-40 minutes until potatoes are golden brown and fries are ready
  6. Preheat the sauce (the whole container) over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally until warm.
  7. Plate the fries and pour the mushroom sauce on top. Sprinkle with some cheese on top.
